Save Energy Now
The public website of a Victorian energy upgrade provider, covering hot water systems, air conditioners, solar panels and batteries, with rebate information and quotation requests.
Case study: Save Energy Now
Save Energy Now helps homes and businesses in Victoria, Australia upgrade to energy-efficient hot water, heating and cooling, and solar, using state and federal rebate programs.
Save Energy Now serves two audiences. Households and businesses need to understand which upgrades and rebates apply to them and to request a quotation. The internal team needs to manage the work that follows.
The work therefore comprises two parts: the public website that customers see, and a private system for the team.
Pages for each category of upgrade (hot water systems, air conditioners, solar panels and solar batteries), with rebate information and a quotation request facility.
A private web application that brings sales, delivery and finance into one place: leads and quotations, jobs and installers, compliance and certificates, invoices and profitability.
An estimator that calculates the certificates an upgrade will earn from the product, the system it replaces and the installation postcode, and a reference of the rules that govern each type of upgrade.
Staff sign in through a secure link sent to their work email address, which removes the risks associated with forgotten or shared passwords.
Accounts are created by an administrator. Self-registration is not permitted.

Calculates the certificates a hot water upgrade will earn, from the product, the system being replaced, the postcode and the installation date.

A reference for staff on each type of upgrade: who qualifies, what the customer must pay and what evidence is required from site.
